BEACH SOUNDS
I realize coming here is unoriginal, but I'm new to the area, and its still a rare experience for me.
I hear wind. My eyes are closed and the longer they stay that way, the further these sounds and I get from reality. After a while I don't even feel like I'm on the beach anymore. The wind is both sound and sensation. I think the wind is only making a sound because of the way our ears are shaped. The Ocean is rhythmic. It provides a cadence. At first it sounded like waves. I've been listening for so long that it's beginning to sound like giant sheets of tissue paper slowly descending to rest, only to be upset again. The birds are loud. I can only imagine how loud they'd be if the waves weren't here. Someone is yelling.
