Shooting ON FILM

In my experience shooting on film, I learned that I should have started there. Any person whom's't'd ever wants to capture images should have to start on a completely analog, film camera in order build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. I started with a digital camera that has an easy mode that turns it into a point-and-shoot. Digital cameras remove that whole trial and error phase of film photography, which is fine for folk who just want to take a picture, but doesn't really serve us as film students too well. I think we need that experience of dicking up an entire roll of film because something was done wrong because it's a huge teaching moment. Plus 35mm images look really rad!
